My name is Charisse Mae. I started Filipina Clean because I kept seeing the same problem: homeowners settling for services that looked fine on the first visit, then slipped — different cleaners every time, last-minute cancellations, homes cleaned on a timer instead of a standard.


I grew up Filipino, in a household where cleanliness was never a chore — it was a form of respect. For your space, for the people in it, for yourself. That's not something you can train into a franchise system. It has to come from somewhere real. For me, it does.


Filipina Clean is not a volume business. I don't stack ten houses a day, rotate staff, or hand your home off to whoever is available. I take on a limited number of clients in the Basehor area so I can actually know your home — and keep it the way you want it, consistently, without you having to explain yourself every visit.

I was born and raised in Talisay City in the Philippines and carried that standard with me when I came to the United States in 2017. I didn't come here to cut corners. I came here to build something — and for the first several years, that meant working hard every single day to bring my son Kristoff here to be with me. He arrived in 2023 at nine years old. Everything I've built, including Filipina Clean, is rooted in that same drive: show up completely, do it right, and never settle for less than your best.

Do you accept every client who reaches out?

No. We review every inquiry and have a short fit call before committing to anything. If your location, expectations, or home situation isn't a match for what we do well, we'll tell you directly. We'd rather turn down work than take it on and not deliver.

How is Filipina Clean different from a franchise or app-based cleaner?

With a franchise or app, you're getting whoever is available that day — different person every visit, no one who knows your home, no direct line to someone accountable. With us, you get the same cleaner every time, a custom plan built for your space, and direct communication with the person doing the work. That's a fundamentally different service.

Why is a deep clean required before recurring service?

Maintenance cleaning only holds when there's a strong baseline under it. The deep clean brings your entire home up to our standard first — so every visit after maintains that level rather than trying to catch up from whatever condition it was in before. No exceptions. It's how the quality stays consistent.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes. We come fully equipped with professional-grade, eco-conscious products. If you have a specific preference or a surface that needs special care — natural stone, certain hardwoods, sensitive finishes — bring it up during the walk-through and we'll plan around it.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. Most of our clients provide a key or access code and go about their day. We're fully insured, and you'll get a message when we're done. You never have to wonder whether it happened or hover over us to make sure it was done right.

What if I have pets?

We account for them. During the walk-through we talk through your pets — where they spend time, whether they need to be secured, any sensitivities. Our products are pet-safe. We handle fur, dander, and pet-area messes as part of our normal scope, not as an afterthought.

What's included in a regular maintenance clean?

Standard maintenance covers all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen — vacuuming, mopping, surface wiping, toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, countertops, and interior glass. Your custom plan will define the exact scope for your home so there's never a question about what's included.

How long does each visit take?

Depends on your home's size and scope. We give you an accurate time estimate after the walk-through. Maintenance visits run shorter than the deep clean, which can take several hours depending on the home. We don't work against a clock — we work against a standard.

Can I adjust the focus for a specific visit?

Yes. Hosting a dinner party, finishing a renovation, or just want extra attention on one area? Reach out before your scheduled visit and we'll adjust. We're flexible within our agreed scope — just give us enough notice to prepare.

Do you offer one-time cleans?

On a limited basis — move-ins, move-outs, and special occasions. These are separate from our recurring roster and subject to availability. Submit an inquiry and tell us what you need. We'll let you know if we can fit it in.

What's your cancellation policy?

We ask for 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may carry a fee. We hold your spot on our schedule — last-minute changes have a real cost on our end. We respect your time completely and ask for the same in return.

How does payment work?

Payment is due on the day of service. We accept Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Pricing is agreed upon and locked in when your plan is finalized — no surprise charges, no upsells at the door. What we quote is what you pay.
